AI Assistants

Connect an AI Assistant

You can point Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible assistant at this site so it can look up information and take actions on your behalf — using your own Coastline login and permissions.

Server URL

Claude

  1. 1.Open your profile menu and go to Settings → Connectors.
  2. 2.Click “Add custom connector”, give it a name (e.g. Coastline Pools), and paste the server URL.
  3. 3.Click Add.

ChatGPT

  1. 1.Go to Apps and enable Developer mode (note: ChatGPT will warn you about enabling it — confirm to continue).
  2. 2.Click “Create app”, name it, paste the server URL, and click Create.
  3. 3.Enable the app from the chat composer before prompting it.

Cursor

  1. 1.Go to Settings → Tools & Integrations and click “New MCP Server”.
  2. 2.Cursor opens mcp.json — add an entry whose url is the server URL, then save.
  3. 3.Toggle the server on.

Custom

  1. 1.Copy the server URL below.
  2. 2.Add it as a streamable HTTP MCP server in your client — a name and the URL are all most clients need.
  3. 3.Reload the client.

One more step: after connecting, your assistant will open this site's approval page — sign in with your own Coastline account and approve. The assistant only ever acts as you, with your permissions.

After we ship changes: assistants cache the tool list, so refresh or reconnect your assistant if new tools don't show up.
