Ryan & Kristy Bird
Coastline Pools & Construction was founded on a frustration every Orange County homeowner knows: the pool industry is full of builders who sell the project, then hand it off — salesperson to project manager to a rotating cast of subcontractors, with the owner's name on a contract and nobody's face on the job.
Ryan and Kristy built Coastline as the opposite. Ryan — a CSLB-licensed contractor (#1082075) with years of Southern California construction behind him — runs every build personally: measuring the yard himself during the site evaluation, pulling the permits, and staying on-site or reachable through every week of construction. Kristy keeps the company's backbone — operations, scheduling, and the client experience that has produced a 4.7/5.0 rating across 100+ Google and Yelp reviews.
The result is a design-build firm where the owners' names are on the license, on the truck, and on the other end of the phone. That's the whole company, on purpose.

We run one construction project at a time so the crew that starts your dig is the crew that finishes your plaster — no split attention, no mid-project handoffs.
Engineering before aesthetics
Every design is drawn to your lot's actual conditions — soils, setbacks, drainage, grade — so the pool is engineered for the site, not redesigned after the city reviews it.

CSLB License #1082075, fully insured, 180+ permits pulled properly. Everything is engineered, permitted, and inspected — because shortcuts don't survive California soil.

License holder, lead builder, and your single point of contact. Ryan walks and measures every yard during the site evaluation, designs with you through 3D, pulls the permits, and is on-site through construction — and he personally answers the calls and texts the whole way.
Kristy Bird — Co-Owner & Operations
Kristy runs the operations behind every build — scheduling, coordination, and the client experience from first consultation to final walkthrough. She's the reason projects move cleanly from design to permits to construction without the gaps that plague bigger builders.
