Orange County Pool Builder
Custom Pool Builder in
Laguna Niguel, CA
Laguna Niguel sits on the rolling hills above the South County coast, and its backyards fall into two camps: hillside lots with canyon and ocean views that call for vanishing edges and engineered retaining, and mature neighborhoods where the pools — many poured in the 80s and 90s — are due for a full remodel. Both are core Coastline work.
The hillside engineering is the honest challenge here. Slope lots need geotechnical review, drainage design that moves water away from the shell, and structural work that holds the grade. We bring the engineers in during design so the pool is engineered for the slope, not redesigned after the city reviews it. And for remodel clients, the six-week transformation is the norm — not the exception.

Hillside Engineering & Permits in Laguna Niguel
Pool permits in Laguna Niguel run through the city's Building Division, with slope-adjacent lots adding geotechnical and drainage review before approval. The city's requirements are straightforward when the engineering package is complete — the resubmittal cycle is what stalls projects, and complete plans avoid it.
For remodels, the permit scope is smaller — typically the electrical and plumbing work around resurfacing and equipment upgrades. We handle both permit types, and we evaluate the shell before quoting anything so you know whether you're looking at a remodel or a rebuild.
