Infinity Edge Custom Pool & Fire Lounge in Huntington Beach, CA

Project Specs

The Challenge

The infinity edge required precise catch-basin engineering and survey-level tolerance to keep the weir flat along its full length — a fraction of an inch off and the vanishing effect breaks. The sunken fire lounge was formed into the deck pour as a single piece so the seating walls, drainage, and gas lines all landed on the first pass.

The Solution

We engineered the infinity edge with an oversized, precisely leveled catch basin and set the weir to survey-grade tolerance so the vanishing effect holds along its full length against the horizon. The sunken fire lounge was formed into the deck pour as a single piece — seating walls, drainage, and gas lines all landing in one pass — flanked by fire bowls and an illuminated raised spa. The result is the estate's centerpiece: a flat plane of water that ends at the horizon, with a fire-lit lounge sunk into the deck beside it.
