Modern Custom Pool & Outdoor Kitchen in Irvine, CA

Project Specs

The Challenge

The design had to clear both the city permit and the village HOA's architectural review, so we prepared plot plans, material boards, and equipment-placement drawings together and ran both approvals in parallel. The outdoor kitchen was framed into the deck pour so counters and decking landed on a single plane — no transition strip, no patched hardscape.

The Solution

We ran the city permit and the village HOA architectural review in parallel with one complete package — plot plans, material boards, and equipment-placement drawings — so neither approval held up the other. The pool was drawn as a clean rectangle with a glass tile waterline and PebbleTec interior, and the outdoor kitchen was framed into the deck pour so counters and decking landed on a single plane. The finished yard entertains as one space: swim zone, kitchen, and lounge with no transitions between them.
