Family Custom Pool & Sheer-Descent Waterfall in Placentia, CA

Project Specs

The Challenge

This yard was designed for daily family use, so we zoned the pool — a shallow play area for the kids and a deep end for the adults — and sited the equipment pad behind the garage line to keep the backyard quiet. The sheer-descent wall and fire pit gas line shared one trench, which kept the deck pour on schedule.

The Solution

Coastline delivered this as one coordinated build: a rectangular gunite pool zoned for play and swimming, a raised spillover spa set into the rear wall feeding a sheer-descent waterfall, and a gas fire pit anchoring the evening side of the deck. Paver decking ties the pool and lounge zones together, and integrated LED lighting carries the yard from afternoon swim to fire-pit evenings. The family is in the water daily — the fire pit gets the nights.
